Types of Gardening
In the world of today where people are busy with their hectic routines trying to survive in the modern world, it is always delightful to spend some time with nature to relax and enjoy what nature has to offer. Surely without any doubt everyone realizes the importance of nature and greenery.
Without it life on earth would cease to exist. But for many people nature is not only a form of decoration around houses and offices but it is also necessary in keeping a peaceful and soothing environment in the surrounding area.
Indeed gardening has become increasingly popular over the years, especially with the growth in modern architecture; people have started reserve special places for flowers and gardens to maintain an environment that is soothing for the heart and soul.
Generally speaking, there are two types of gardening i.e. indoor and outdoor gardening. Although there are other types of gardening as well but they can all be summarized in these two broad categories.
Indoor gardening refers to indoor plantation to decorate the interior of a building. Generally people choose different types of plants to decorate the interior of their houses or offices. Generally all plants can be maintained indoors, however there are some specific plants which can survive better in indoor environments than others with lesser amount of care. Indoor plants are usually kept in pots or large tub shaped concrete blocks which provide enough room for the roots of the plant to grow. Still one needs to make sure they get enough water, sunshine and fresh air for healthy growth.
Outdoor gardening is where the real fun begins. Naturally plants are meant to be kept in the outdoors and thus one can decorate the outdoors with a huge variety of plants and trees which make the world look like paradise. There are different designs which can be followed to give a distinct and unique look to an area.
Water gardening is perhaps the most beautiful type of gardening. In this form, plants and flowers are grown around a pond of water which gives it a natural look. Generally people prefer to keep fishes in shallow small ponds which give it a distinct look. Small fountains are often placed in the centre to give it an extra lively and attractive look.
Container gardening is also very popular among people living in suburban areas. It doesn’t need a lot of space and thus is favourable for people who have small houses or do not have enough open space to plant a garden.
